Get 2 cups of bread flour and add 1 1/4 teaspoons of active dry yeast and 1 teaspoon of salt; mix well.
Add 1 cup of hot water (between 120 to 130 degrees Fahrenheit) to the mixture; if the water temperature is not in this range, the yeast won't activate.
Using a wooden spoon, mix the dough until it starts to come together.
Flour your hands and knead the dough for about 1 minute; it will be sticky, so don't worry about that.
Coat a small pan in olive oil, transfer the dough, and coat the top with more olive oil; cover with plastic wrap.
Let the dough rest in the fridge for 18 to 24 hours.
After resting, take out a 10-inch cast iron skillet and coat it with 2 to 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
Add the dough to the skillet and spread it out with your hands; cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for another hour and a half.
During the resting period, you can make homemade pizza sauce, take a nap, or grate some low moisture mozzarella cheese.
After the resting period, add your favorite pizza sauce to the dough.
Add toppings; the creator used pepperoni and homemade pickled jalapenos.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
Check the crust; if it looks golden, turn on the stove and finish cooking the crust over an open flame until it looks slightly burnt and crispy.
Transfer the pizza to a cutting board, slice it up, and enjoy.
