Turkey bacon is lower in fat while pancetta provides a similar flavor.

Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.

In a small frying pan, cook 2 eggs to your liking (sunny side up, over easy, etc.) and set aside.

In a large frying pan, add cut-up middle rash bacon and cook for a couple of minutes until crispy.

Turn off the heat and add 1/3 cup of olive oil to the bacon.

Chop 1 large red chili and add it to the frying pan.

Add the cooked spaghetti to the frying pan with bacon and chili.

Chop about 1/4 cup of parsley and add it to the mixture.

Add about 1/2 cup of finely grated parmesan cheese and gently toss to combine.

Serve the spaghetti and top with the cooked egg, allowing the yolk to run over the pasta.

Season with black pepper if desired.
