Welcome to my channel, Rosie Cooks. Today I'm making braised beef ribs in a crock pot.

Season the 8 beef short ribs with salt and black pepper on all sides.

Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a skillet over high heat until hot.

Sear the ribs in the skillet on all four sides until they have a nice toasty color.

Remove the ribs from the skillet and set them aside.

In the same skillet with the drippings, add 1/4 of an onion and brown it for a couple of minutes.

Add 2 cloves of minced garlic to the onions and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Stir in 1/4 cup of flour and mix well.

Add 1/4 cup of Worcestershire sauce and 1 cup of beef broth to the skillet, stirring to create a thick gravy.

Place the seared ribs in the crock pot and pour the thick gravy over the top.

Cover the crock pot and set it to high, cooking for 4 hours.

Halfway through the cooking process, stir the contents of the crock pot to ensure even cooking.

After 4 hours, check the ribs; they should be soft and tender.

Plate the ribs over mashed potatoes and serve.
