Start by blending rolled oats in a food processor for about 20-30 seconds until they reach a fine flour consistency, with some lumps remaining.
Transfer the blended oat flour into a large bowl.
Add salt to the oat flour in the bowl.
Add baking soda to the dry ingredients in the bowl.
In a separate bowl, mix together plain yogurt, treacle (molasses), and an egg until combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix by hand using a spatula or wooden spoon until just combined.
Observe the dough puffing up as the yogurt and baking soda react.
Transfer the dough into a buttered 9x5 inch pan and flatten the top.
Bake in the oven at 350°F (180°C) for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and crackled on top.
Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool before slicing.
