Wash the courgette from the garden and slice it.
Preheat a frying pan and add about 4 tablespoons of cooking oil.
Add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds and 1 big chopped onion to the pan.
Mix and wait until the onion softens, about 1 minute.
Add about half a glass of water and bring it to a boil.
Add 2 teaspoons of chili powder, 2 teaspoons of turmeric powder, 2 teaspoons of coriander powder, and half a teaspoon of cumin powder.
Add 2 tablespoons of salt to taste and mix everything well.
Add another half a glass of water to prevent the masalas from burning.
Once the water is dried up, add another half a glass of water and bring it to a boil.
Add the sliced courgettes to the pan and combine well with the masalas.
Cover the pan with a lid and cook on medium flame.
After a few minutes, check if the courgettes are cooked; if not, cover and cook on slow flame for another 3-4 minutes.
