Whole grain rolls add fiber and nutrients.

Melt 2 sticks of butter in a bowl.

Chop the majority of a large onion until fine.

Add 6 tablespoons of poppy seeds to the melted butter.

Add 6 tablespoons of mustard to the mixture.

Add 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce to the mixture.

Whisk the butter mixture until combined.

Use Hawaiian sweet rolls for the recipe.

Cut the rolls in half horizontally, keeping them attached.

Spread the butter mixture over the bottom half of the rolls.

Layer ham evenly over the buttered rolls.

Place cheese slices on top of the ham.

Close the rolls with the top halves.

You can prepare some rolls ahead of time and refrigerate them before serving.
