8 Asparagus
900ml hot water
3 spring onions
125ml olive oil
110g green beans
4 small mushrooms
1 red bell pepper
1 sweet red pepper
5 dried bay leaves
1 tbsp curry powder
1 green bell pepper
230g red kidney beans
8 diced chicken breasts
500g pearl barley without skin
½ tbsp Schwartz chicken seasonings (paprika & onions)

Wash and chop the vegetables.

Wash the pearl barley, add in a cooking pot and pour hot water.

Parboil the pearl barley for 15 minutes.

Bring down from heat, wash properly and set aside.

Wash the chicken breasts and add them in a pot.

Add one knorr cube, bay leaves, salt, thyme, Schwartz seasoning, curry powder and hot water.

Cook until the chicken breasts are done.

Then scoop out the chicken breasts from the pot into a clean bowl.

Add the parboiled pearl barley into the pot, stir properly then cook until done.

Bring down from heat and set aside.

Add the olive oil in a wok then allow the oil to slightly heat up.

Add salt, onions, cooked chicken breasts, carrots, ginger, parsnips, asparagus, green beans, mushrooms, kidney beans and one knorr cube.

Then fry for 5 minutes.

Add the green, red bell peppers, spring onions and sweet red pepper.

Stir properly and fry for another 2 minutes.

Add the cooked pearly barley and stir properly.

Bring down from heat and serve warm with fresh salad.
