Sauteed Apples

4 apples, peeled, cored and chopped
2 tsp coconut oil
1 tbsp water
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
a pinch of nutmeg
a pinch of salt
optional: 1 tsp maple syrup

Peel, core and chop the apples into bite-sized pieces.

Add them to a nonstick pan with coconut oil, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and a little splash of water and stir together to coat. Cover and cook at medium-high heat for one minute.

Then take the lid off, reduce heat and keep stirring occasionally for another 3-4 minutes or until some of the apples become golden brown.

Take out and serve immediately.
