In a mixing bowl, add cold water, sugar, and salt.
Add bread flour and baking powder to the bowl.
Beat the mixture for about five minutes until soft and pliable.

Remove the dough from the mixer after five minutes.
Divide the dough into 11 balls.
Knead each piece of dough using your fingertips and shape it into a round disk.
Place each disk on the floured cutting board and repeat with the remaining dough.
Cover the dough and bench rest for 15 minutes.
Dust the papata with flour on both sides.
On a medium-low heat griddle, place the papata, leaving space between them.
Cook the bread on medium-low flame on both sides until golden brown.
