- ●4 cups all-purpose flour
- ●1 1/2 cups warm water (110°F)
- ●2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
- ●1 tsp sugar
- ●2 tsp salt
- ●2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- 2In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
- 3Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture.
- 4Mix until a dough begins to form.
- 5Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 6Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size.
- 7Once risen, punch down the dough to release air.
- 8Divide the dough into two equal portions for two pizzas or keep it whole for one large pizza.
- 9Shape the dough into a ball and let it rest for another 10-15 minutes before rolling out.
- 10Roll out the dough to your desired thickness and shape for your pizza.

- 3Pour the sourdough mixture into the flour mixture and stir until a rough dough forms.
- 4Add the olive oil and knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 5Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise at room temperature for 4-6 hours or until doubled in size.
- 6Once risen, punch down the dough to release the air and divide it into 2-4 equal portions depending on the desired pizza size.
- 7Shape each portion into a ball and let them rest for another 30 minutes, covered with a cloth.
- 8Preheat your oven to the highest setting (usually around 250°C or 482°F) with a pizza stone inside if you have one.
- 9Roll out each dough ball on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
- 10Top with your favorite pizza toppings and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until the crust is golden and crispy.
