Snap the ends off the green beans and prepare them for the recipe.
Gather two heads of dill from the garden.
Prepare jalapenos and banana peppers from the garden to add to the mix.
Make the brine by combining 1 tablespoon of pink Himalayan salt per cup of water and stir until dissolved.
Add the dill and one clove of garlic to the brine mixture.
Fill a baggie with water to weigh down the green beans and keep them submerged in the brine.
Put the fermenting lid on the jar; if using a regular lid, shake and burp it daily.
Let the beans ferment for 5 to 7 days.
Prepare cucumber bites by slicing one large cucumber into thick slices.
Mix 4 ounces of softened cream cheese with 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise in a bowl.
Add fresh dill leaves to the cream cheese and mayonnaise mixture, about 2-3 tablespoons.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of garlic salt to the mixture and mix well.
Scoop or spread the cream cheese mixture onto the cucumber slices and serve.
