1

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

2

In a blender, combine 5 whole eggs, vanilla extract, zest of 1 orange, a pinch of salt, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and regular milk until smooth.

3

In a skillet, cook sugar on medium-high heat, stirring constantly until it melts into a golden brown caramel.

4

Pour the caramel into an 8.5-inch rectangular baking pan, coating the bottom evenly.

5

Remove any foam from the blended flan mixture and stir it just before pouring into the baking pan.

6

Place the baking pan with flan mixture into a larger baking pan and pour boiling water into the larger pan until it reaches half the height of the flan pan.

7

Bake for around 1 hour, until the top is golden and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

8

Remove the flan pan from the water bath and let it cool for 1 hour at room temperature.

9

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

10

Run a knife around the edges of the flan, place a plate on top, flip, and gently remove the pan.
