Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Nutritional yeast adds a cheesy flavor with fewer calories.
Add about 1 tablespoon of olive oil to a bowl.
Add about 1/2 teaspoon of oregano, 1/2 teaspoon of basil, 1/2 teaspoon of thyme, and some salt and pepper to taste to the olive oil.
Mix the olive oil and spices together.
Trim the ends off the brussels sprouts and slice them in half.
Cut 2 russet potatoes into cubes after washing and drying them.
Put the brussels sprouts into the bowl with the olive oil and spices and mix until coated.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Place the brussels sprouts cut side down on the baking sheet.
Mix the same spices with the cubed potatoes and add a little crushed red pepper for spice.
Add the cubed potatoes to the same baking sheet as the brussels sprouts.
Place the baking sheet in a 375°F oven for 20 to 30 minutes, checking at 20 minutes for tenderness.
After about 25 minutes, check the brussels sprouts; they should be browned and crispy on top and lightly browned on the bottom.
Remove the brussels sprouts and potatoes from the oven and place them on a serving tray.
