Mix in cumin, coriander, and chili powder; cook for another minute to bloom spices.
Add sliced okra and carrots; stir to combine.
Pour in vegetable broth and bring to a simmer.
Season with salt and black pepper; cover and cook for 20-25 minutes until vegetables are tender.
Stir in diced bell peppers and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice and chopped cilantro before serving.
