Cook 1 pound (500g) bow-tie pasta (farfalle) to the al dente stage.
Drain the pasta and rinse under cold water.
In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup (110g) olive oil, 3 tbsp (45ml) red wine vinegar, 2 tbsp (30ml) lemon juice, 1 tbsp (15g) sugar, 3 minced garlic cloves, 2 tsp dried basil, 2 tsp dried oregano, and 1 tsp (5g) mustard; whisk together to make the dressing.
In a large bowl, add the drained pasta, 7 oz (200g) cucumber sliced into quarters, 10 oz (300g) cherry tomatoes cut into halves or quarters, 1/2 red onion, 2 red peppers, and 6 oz (170g) black olives cut into slices.
Add 3.5 oz (100g) baby spinach leaves and 1 ripe avocado diced to the bowl.
Add 7 oz (200g) feta cheese to the salad mixture.
Pour the salad dressing over the pasta salad and toss gently to combine.
