1

Chop zucchini, squash, and onion; peel zucchini and squash to make them less noticeable in the dish.

2

Defrost 2 lb block of ground beef in cool water for about an hour; use half of it for this recipe and save the rest for later.

3

Heat a little vegetable oil in the Always Pan.

4

Add chopped zucchini and onion to the pan and cook for a few minutes to get a head start before adding the ground beef.

5

Add ground beef to the pan and brown it with the vegetables until fully cooked.

6

Remove half of the cooked mixture and store it in a glass container for later use.

7

Season the mixture in the pan with salt, black pepper, garlic, and about 1 tablespoon of ground mustard.

8

Add bow tie pasta to the pan; for every cup of pasta, add two cups of liquid.

9

Pour in 2 cups of chicken broth and 2 cups of tomato sauce (marinara) into the pan with the pasta.

10

Bring the mixture to a boil, then lower the heat to a simmer and cover the pan; cook for about 10 minutes until the pasta is done.

11

Shred 1-2 cups of cheddar cheese to add on top of the dish.

12

After the pasta is cooked, remove the lid and let it cook for a few more minutes to evaporate some of the liquid.

13

Add the shredded cheese on top and cover again to let it melt.
