How to make Crack Dip!

Start by cooking around 12 pieces of bacon until crispy and cooled.

Chop the bacon into tiny pieces using a knife or use a half cup of real bacon bits for convenience.

In a large glass bowl, combine 1 package of softened cream cheese and 1 packet of ranch mix.

Add 16 ounces of full fat sour cream to the bowl.

Incorporate 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, mixing in 1 cup and reserving the other cup for topping later.

Add the chopped bacon to the mixture, reserving some for topping.

Mix all ingredients by hand with a sturdy spoon until completely combined.

Transfer the dip mixture into an 8x8 baking dish without greasing it.

Cover the baking dish with foil to prevent the top from getting too crispy during baking.

Bake in a preheated oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 minutes.

After 25 minutes, remove the foil and top with the reserved cheddar cheese.

Bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Remove from the oven and top with the leftover bacon and sliced green onions.
