Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add a bit of salt.

Cook 500 g of pasta according to package directions until tender.

Drain the pasta in a colander and return it to the pot.

Chop 200 g of sliced ham into small pieces.

In a mixing jug, whisk together 3 eggs, 1 cup (250 ml) of milk, salt, pepper, and 50 g of freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

Add the chopped ham to the drained pasta and stir it through.

Pour the egg mixture over the pasta and ham, and stir well.

Over low heat, stir the mixture for about 2 to 3 minutes until everything is warmed through.

Garnish with snipped chives and additional grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
