Air Fryer Whole Chicken

1 whole chicken (about 4-5 lbs)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp dried rosemary
1 lemon, halved
4 cloves garlic, crushed

Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C).

Pat the whole chicken dry with paper towels.

In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, and rosemary to create a seasoning rub.

Rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken, including under the skin and inside the cavity.

Stuff the cavity of the chicken with the halved lemon and crushed garlic cloves.

Place the chicken in the air fryer basket, breast side down.

Cook the chicken for 30 minutes at 360°F (182°C).

After 30 minutes, carefully flip the chicken over to breast side up and cook for an additional 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.
