In a large mixing bowl, combine the plain flour and salt.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently to bring it together into a smooth ball.
Cut the dough in two, shape it, and wrap it in cling film. Leave it to rest for at least 30 minutes.
Crumble the drained fresh goat cheese into small pieces using a fork.
In a separate bowl, beat the two whole eggs until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the peas to the bowl with the goat cheese and mix to combine, then pour the beaten eggs into the mixture and stir until smooth.
Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper if necessary.
Roll out your prepared short crust pastry, fit it into your pie dish, and trim any excess edges.
Pour the goat cheese, peas, and egg mixture into the pie shell.
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the filling is set and lightly golden on top.
