Garlic Parmesan Roasted Green Beans

1 lb fresh green beans
3 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Wash and trim the green beans, removing the ends.

In a large bowl, combine the green beans, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Toss until the green beans are well coated.

Spread the green beans in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Roast in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the green beans.

Return to the oven and roast for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the green beans are tender and slightly crispy.
