Cut the stem off of broccoli.
Chop off the end of the broccoli stem.
Peel the broccoli stem like you're peeling a carrot.
Repeat the peeling process for additional broccoli stems.
Slice the stems into desired thickness, either thin or thick.
Place the peeled and sliced broccoli stems into a bowl.
Drizzle about 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil over the broccoli stems.
Add dry thyme, parsley, and salt to the bowl.
Mix the broccoli stems with your hands to ensure they are evenly coated with oil and seasonings.
Preheat the Phillips air fryer to 180°C (360°F).
Spread the broccoli stems in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, check the broccoli stems for color.
Spray the broccoli stems with extra virgin olive oil to enhance crispiness.
Increase the air fryer temperature to 200°C (400°F) and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Check the broccoli stems again once the time is up.
