2/3 to 3/4 cup Louisiana or Zatarain's crab boil seasoning
1 medium yellow onion
3 small ribs celery
1 green bell pepper
1 bulb garlic
1 medium lemon
3 tablespoons salted butter

Remove the leaves from the fresh corn cobs and rinse them.

In a 15-quart pot, add 1 gallon of water and cover it to bring it to a simmer.

Once simmering, add 2/3 to 3/4 cup of crab boil seasoning to the pot.

Stir the ingredients together and let them simmer for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cover the pot and let the corn simmer for 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

After 12 minutes, turn off the heat and cover the pot to let the corn soak for 1 to 2 hours for flavor penetration.

After soaking, melt 3 tablespoons of salted butter and brush it lightly onto the corn cobs before serving.
