Tawa Burger

2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 1/2 tsp ginger & garlic paste
1 medium onion (chopped)
1 cup cabbage (sliced)
1 medium bellpepper (chopped)
1 green chili (sliced)
1 large tomato (deseeded & chopped)
1 tsp red chili powder
1/4 tsp turmeric
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp pav bhaji masala powder (readymade)
2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves
800g potatoes (boiled & mashed)
burger buns (as many required)
butter to grease the frying pan
tomato ketchup
cheddar cheese

In a frying pan, heat butter and oil, add cumin seeds, ginger & garlic paste, and fry for a few seconds.

Add onion, cabbage, and bellpepper mix, and fry on medium to high flame for 2 to 4 minutes.

Now add green chili and tomato, and cook till the tomatoes reduce.

Then add red chili, turmeric, salt, garam masala powder, pav bhaji masala, and fresh coriander, keep stirring on low to medium flame.

Add the potatoes, mix well, and keep aside to cool.

Grease the frying pan with butter and warm the buns on both sides.

Add ketchup on the buns, potato filling, cheese, and cover with the bun.

Heat a frying pan, brush a little butter, sprinkle coriander leaves, and warm the buns till the cheese melts.

Serve hot with fries, ketchup, and cold drinks.
