Instructions

  1. 1In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, and yellow mustard.
  2. 2Add the white vinegar and sweet pickle relish to the bowl.
  3. 3Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt.
  4. 4Whisk all the ingredients together until well combined and smooth.
  5. 5Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more salt or vinegar to your preference.
  6. 6Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the sauce to an airtight container.

Instructions

  2. 2Wash and peel the russet potatoes, then cut them into fries.
  3. 3Soak the cut fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  4. 4Drain the fries and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  5. 5In a large bowl, toss the fries with vegetable oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  6. 6Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. 7Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  8. 8Remove the fries from the oven and immediately sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  9. 9Return the fries to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
