Boil water in a pot and add a couple tablespoons of kosher salt.

Add 1 lb of dried spaghetti to the boiling water and ensure it's fully submerged.

Preheat a pan over medium heat and add 2 tbsp of olive oil.

Add 1/2 lb of ground beef to the pan and season with salt and pepper.

Brown the ground beef in the pan.

Remove the casing from 1/2 lb of Italian sausage and add it to the pan, breaking it up as it cooks.

Chop 1 small onion and add it to the pan once the meat is browned.

Stir in 2 cloves of minced garlic and sauté until the onions are tender and translucent.

Drain the pasta and rinse it with a little water.

Add a few pats of butter to the hot pasta to prevent sticking and add flavor.

In a bowl, microwave 8 oz of cream cheese for about 30 seconds to soften it.

Mix the softened cream cheese until smooth, then add 1/4 cup of sour cream and 1 cup of ricotta cheese, mixing until combined.

Drizzle olive oil in the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish.

Add a small amount of pasta sauce to the spaghetti to season it.

Layer half of the seasoned spaghetti in the baking dish.

Spread the cheesy mixture evenly over the spaghetti layer.

Add the remaining spaghetti on top of the cheese layer.

Pour the meat sauce over the top and distribute evenly.
