Traditionally enjoyed in family gatherings, it highlights the use of olive oil, a staple in Mediterranean cooking, which has found its way into German kitchens. 1

Welcome to my anti-aging kitchen.

2

Today I'm making Oleolux, a spread that includes coconut fat, onions, garlic, and linseed oil.

3

Start by preparing 250 grams of coconut fat and heat it until it melts.

4

Add 1 medium onion, chopped, to the melted coconut fat.

5

Cook the onions until they become lightly golden, avoiding browning or burning them.

6

Once the onions are lightly golden, add 10 cloves of garlic, chopped, and cook until they turn a light yellow color together with the onions.

7

Adjust the temperature to ensure nothing burns during cooking.

8

After about 5-10 minutes, the mixture should be ready when the onions are a nice light yellow.

9

Remove the pan from heat and let it cool slightly.

10

Add 125 grams of linseed oil to the mixture and stir well.

11

Transfer the mixture into a glass jar and place it immediately in the freezer to cool quickly and preserve the properties of the fats.

12

Once it has set, store it in the refrigerator.

13

This Oleolux can be used as a spread or to enhance the flavor of vegetables.
