2 heads of broccoli

2-3 cloves garlic, finely pureed

¼ cup water

1 lemon, juiced

3 tablespoons butter

salt

Wash and cut the broccoli by splitting lengthwise through stems.

Place a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil.

Add broccoli to the pan, season with salt and pepper and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes to attain a little browning on each side.

Add the garlic and continue for 30 seconds.

Add the water and lemon juice, mix well and cover with lid and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender.

Remove the lid, add in the butter (over very low heat) and mix well so it coats everything. Place on serving plate, pour the sauce over each piece, and enjoy!
