In a large bowl, add 1 and 1/4 cups of warm water (about 110°F) and sprinkle in just under 1 tablespoon of yeast.

Prepare the flour mixture by adding 3 and 1/2 cups of flour, 2 teaspoons of salt, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder to a bowl and mix it together.
Once the yeast is bubbly, dump the flour mixture into the yeast mixture and mix using a Danish whisk or dough hook.
Add most of the cheese into the dough and fold it in, then do the same with the chopped jalapeños.
Spray the mixing bowl with cooking spray and place the dough back in to rise for about 1 to 1 and a half hours, covered with a towel.
After the rise, dust a surface with flour and turn the dough out, folding it into a tight ball.
Prepare a piece of parchment paper and place the dough on it, then cover it loosely with a towel while the Dutch oven preheats.
Preheat the oven to 450°F and let the Dutch oven warm up for at least 20 minutes.
Score the top of the dough before placing it into the Dutch oven.
