Saute onions in butter over medium high heat for a couple of minutes.
Add fresh minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
If the pan is dry, add a little extra butter or oil.
Add orzo to the pan and toast for about 1 minute.
Pour in a combination of milk and chicken stock, stirring everything together.
Season with salt and pepper.
Reduce heat to medium and cook for about 15 to 17 minutes, stirring occasionally, until orzo is al dente and creamy.
Turn off the heat when the orzo is a bit too runny, as it dries out quickly.
Add Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese to the orzo.
Optionally, add peas and asparagus.
