Peel the tangerines and divide them into slices.
Do the same with the oranges and cut the slices in half, removing any seeds if necessary.
Transfer the oranges and tangerines to a saucepan.
Add sugar to the fruit and stir.
Leave the mixture for at least four hours to allow the fruit to release juice.
Put the pan on a small fire and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Remove the pan from the stove and blend the mixture with a blender.
Put the pan back on medium heat and boil the jam for another five to seven minutes.
Pour the finished hot jam into pre-sterilized jars and tighten the lids.
