Whole wheat adds fiber, while store-bought is convenient.
Place frozen spinach in a pot and add some water.
Heat on the stove until boiling, stirring occasionally until the spinach is fully thawed.
Take about 150 grams of pizza dough and divide it into two pieces, rolling them into balls.
Let the dough balls rest for 10-15 minutes to become airy.
While the dough rests, prepare the feta cheese by cutting it into strips and then mashing it with a fork until fine.
Once the spinach is thawed, drain excess water to avoid a watery filling.
Combine the drained spinach with the crumbled feta cheese in a bowl, adding salt and black pepper to taste, and mix well.
Roll out each dough ball into a rectangle approximately 15 x 20 cm.
Place a portion of the spinach and feta mixture on one half of the rolled-out dough.
Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and seal the edges by pressing down.
Cut a slit on top of each pastry to allow steam to escape while baking.
Spread some passierte tomaten on top and sprinkle with cheese for added flavor.
Bake in a preheated oven at 230°C (446°F) for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
