Iraqi Amba Sauce

Cultural Context

Amba sauce, originating from Iraq, is a tangy mango condiment traditionally served with falafel, shawarma, and other Middle Eastern dishes. It reflects the region's love for bold flavors and vibrant ingredients. Today, amba has gained popularity beyond Iraq, becoming a staple in various Middle Eastern cuisines and even in fusion dishes worldwide.
