Peel and slice the purple sweet potatoes.
Boil the sweet potatoes until tender.
Drain the sweet potatoes and place them in a big bowl.
Add 1/2 cup whole milk to the bowl.
Add 4 tablespoons of melted butter to the bowl.
Add 2 eggs to the bowl.
Add 1/2 cup brown sugar to the bowl.
Add a pinch of salt to the bowl.
Add about 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract to the bowl.
Add 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg to the bowl.
Add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon to the bowl.
Mix the ingredients well, using a hand mixer or a fork if necessary.
Spread the mixture into a 9 by 13 pan.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25 minutes.
Remove from the oven and add mini marshmallows on top.
Increase the oven temperature to 400°F and bake until the marshmallows are golden brown, about less than 5 minutes.
