Add the yeast mixture, milk, and melted butter to the dry ingredients; mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 8-10 minutes.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Punch down the risen dough and divide it into equal pieces; shape each piece into a bun.
Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper; cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Brush the tops of the buns with beaten egg; sprinkle everything bagel seasoning generously on top.
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack before serving.
