Turn on a large skillet to medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter.

Season 4 chicken breasts with 1.5 teaspoons Italian seasoning, 0.5 teaspoon salt, and 0.25 teaspoon black pepper on both sides.

Place the chicken breasts in the skillet, seasoned side down, and season the top side with the same seasonings.
