4 tbsps of soft butter
1 tbsp of sugar
1 tsp of salt
1 ½ tbsp of instant yeast
1 cup of warm water
1 egg

Knead all the ingredients for 10 minutes, using your hands or food processor.

Place the dough in a big bowl. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen cloth.

Leave the dough to grow for one hour. Alternatively, you may leave it to grow in the fridge overnight (it's a good choice if you want to have fresh bread rolls for breakfast!).

Line the baking tray with parchment paper.

Oil or flour your hands (the dough may be a bit sticky). Form 10-12 bread rolls and place them on the baking tray.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). The bread rolls will grow a bit when the oven is heating up.
