1 tablespoon dijon mustard
1/2 lemon (juice)
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1.5 tablespoons dried chives
2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
4 garlic cloves
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
ribeye steak
2 tablespoons cooking oil
rosemary (fresh or dried)
steak seasoning (Weber gourmet seasoning)

Melt 6 tablespoons of butter in a medium bowl.

Add the juice of half a lemon to the melted butter.

Add 1 tablespoon of dijon mustard to the bowl.

Add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the mixture.

Add 1/4 teaspoon of paprika to the bowl.

Add 1/4 teaspoon of dried thyme to the mixture.

Add 1.5 tablespoons of dried chives to the bowl.

Add 2 tablespoons of fresh chopped parsley to the mixture.

Mince 4 garlic cloves and add them to the bowl.

Add 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper and 1/4 teaspoon of salt to the mixture.

Whisk all ingredients together until well combined and taste to adjust seasonings.

Set aside the cowboy butter sauce.

Pull the ribeye steak out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking.

Season both sides of the ribeye steak with your favorite steak seasoning.

Heat a pan over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil.

Once the oil is hot, place the seasoned ribeye steak in the pan.

Add 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of the steak and let it melt.

Cook the steak for 4 to 5 minutes before checking doneness.

Crush and roughly chop garlic cloves to add to the steak after flipping.

Add rosemary to the steak, either fresh or dried.

Flip the steak after 4 to 5 minutes and add another tablespoon of butter on the other side.

Add half of the crushed garlic cloves to the pan after flipping the steak.

Spoon the melted butter and garlic over the steak as it cooks for another 4 to 5 minutes.

Remove the steak from the pan and place it on a cutting board to rest for 10 minutes.

After resting, slice the steak and serve with the cowboy butter sauce.
