  • 2 whole game hens (about 1.5 lbs each)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme) for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper if using.
