Once the pot comes to a boil, continue cooking the sauce on medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring and breaking up the pineapple as the sauce cooks.

After cooking the sauce for 10 minutes, make the cornstarch slurry and add it to the sauce with the heat still on medium. The sauce should thicken up within 60 seconds.

Continue cooking the pineapple sauce for another 5 minutes to cook out the cornstarch taste, stirring constantly.

Once you cook the sauce for another 5 minutes, it's ready to serve.
