Trim the garlic arrows to fit in jars.
Prepare sterilized jars and lids.
Combine 1 cup white vinegar, 1 cup water, 1 tablespoon salt, and 1 tablespoon sugar in a saucepan.
Heat the mixture over medium heat until the sugar and salt dissolve, stirring occasionally.
Add 1 teaspoon black peppercorns, 1 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1 tablespoon dill, 2 bay leaves, and 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes to the jars.
Pack the garlic arrows tightly into the jars, leaving some space at the top.
Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the garlic arrows, covering them completely.
Seal the jars with lids and allow to cool to room temperature for about 1 hour.
Refrigerate the jars for at least 48 hours before consuming.
Enjoy the pickled garlic arrows as a tangy side or condiment.
