Jalapeño Cheddar Bagels

Chop up a jalapeno and set aside.

Preheat the oven to 375°F and adjust the oven rack higher than usual.

In a bowl, add 2 cups of Greek yogurt.

Add 1 cup of sharp cheddar cheese to the yogurt.

Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the mixture.

Add 2 cups of all-purpose flour to the bowl.

Add 2 heaping teaspoons of baking powder to the mixture.

Use a Danish whisk to mix the ingredients together until a shaggy dough forms.

Dust a kneading mat with flour and turn the dough out onto it.

Knead the dough until it comes together and is not too sticky.

Cut the dough into pieces and shape each piece into a bagel.

Place the bagels on a baking dish lined with a silicone mat.

Roll and pinch the dough to form bagels, making them as uniform as possible.

Place the bagels on the baking sheet, aiming for eight in total.
