Add canned sardines, breaking them apart gently, and cook until heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
Incorporate halved cherry tomatoes and capers; cook until tomatoes soften, about 3-5 minutes.
Drain the pasta, reserving some pasta water, and add it to the skillet.
Toss the pasta with the sardine mixture, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a sauce.
Finish with lemon juice, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper to taste.
Serve topped with grated parmesan and bread crumbs.
