Onion Rice

1 tbl spoon oil
¾ teaspoon mustard
1 teaspoon urad dal
2 teaspoon chana dal
cashews
5 chopped garlic
3 medium size onion
1 green chilli
3 dry chilli
curry leaves
¼ teaspoon chilli powder
turmeric powder
200 grams cooked rice
salt
coriander leaves
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Heat oil in a pan.

Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.

Add urad dal and chana dal, and sauté until golden.

Add chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add chopped onions and green chilli, and cook until onions are translucent.

Add dry chillies and curry leaves, and stir well.

Sprinkle in chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt, and mix thoroughly.

Add the cooked rice and stir to combine all ingredients evenly.

Finish with chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice, and mix well.
