Wash and pick through the 12 oz package of fresh cranberries to ensure all are good.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cranberries, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of orange marmalade, and 1 cup of chopped walnuts. Stir to mix well and dissolve some of the sugar.
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Transfer the mixture into a covered dish and bake for 45 minutes at 350°F.
After 20 minutes, check the dish and stir it a little to ensure even cooking.
While the first relish is baking, prepare the second relish by washing and cutting the end off a seedless orange.
In a food processor, add the orange (with peel) and pulse to create a textured mixture.
Add the 12 oz package of cranberries to the food processor and pulse again to combine, maintaining some texture.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add 2 cups of sugar, stirring well to combine and dissolve the sugar.
Refrigerate the second relish for at least 3 to 4 hours, preferably overnight, to let the flavors meld.
