4 cups cold water
1 teaspoon salt

1 cup sour cream
2 serrano peppers

Sort through the beans to remove any stones.

Rinse the beans well and cover them with cold water.

Once the beans have soaked, drain them and place them into a medium-sized pot.

Mince the garlic and onion and add them to the pot along with the episote.
