2 handfuls dried wild mushrooms
1 medium onion
3 tablespoons olive oil

2 bay leaves
1 cup mushroom soaking liquid
sauerkraut
2 tablespoons honey

Soak 2 handfuls of dried wild mushrooms in hot boiling water for a few hours or overnight.

Peel and finely chop 1 medium onion.

In a pan, heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion, a pinch of salt, and black pepper to taste. Mix everything together and sauté until the onions start caramelizing.

Add the soaked mushrooms to the pan with the caramelized onions and sauté for several minutes.

Add 2 bay leaves to the mixture.

Pour in about 1 cup of the mushroom soaking liquid.

Add the sauerkraut to the pan and cook everything together for about 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, add 2 tablespoons of honey and mix well.
