2 bay leaves
2 cups water
6 cups chicken broth
1 tablespoon Mrs. Dash seasoning
1/2 cup flour
2 cups milk
soft butter
buttered French bread

Add 2 cups of cooked chicken to the crock pot.

Add 3/4 cup of celery and 3 3/4 cup of carrot to the crock pot.

Add 1 cup of diced onion and 5 or 6 minced garlic cloves to the crock pot.

Add the Rice-A-Roni long grain wild rice mix on top of everything in the crock pot.

Sprinkle the seasoning packet that comes with the Rice-A-Roni on top.

Add 2 bay leaves to the crock pot.

Pour in 2 cups of water and give it a little stir.

Add 1/2 cup of chicken broth to the mixture.

Turn the crock pot on high and cover it with the lid.

After about 30 minutes to an hour, add in 5 and a half cups of additional chicken broth, totaling 6 cups.

Stir the mixture in the crock pot.

After cooking for about another hour, stir the soup again.

Add 1 tablespoon of Mrs. Dash seasoning to the soup.

Melt some soft butter and whisk in 1/2 cup of flour until smooth.

Add 2 cups of milk to the flour mixture, whisking as you go until it thickens slightly.

Pour the milk mixture into the crock pot and stir gently.

Turn the crock pot down to low and let it finish cooking.
