chicken broth – 1,7 pt | 800 ml
tomato paste – 2 tbsp
sour cream – 2 tbsp
garlic – 2 cloves
butter – 1 oz | 30 g
all-purpose flour – 2 tbsp
sweet paprika – 2 tbsp
caraway seeds – 1 tsp
dried marjoram – 1 tbsp
1 bay leaf
ground black pepper – ½ tsp
salt – 2 tsp

Chop the onion, cut the potato into large dices, hot dogs into round slices, mince the garlic.

Heat a pan over medium heat, add the butter and fry the onion for 5 minutes over medium heat.

Add the potato, chicken broth, minced garlic, caraway seeds, salt, black pepper, dried marjoram, a bay leaf and sweet paprika, stir, bring to a boil, cover with a lid and simmer for 25 minutes over low heat.

Add the sliced hot dogs and stir.

Then add the tomato paste, take the bay leaf out and stir.

In a small bowl combine the sour cream and flour until smooth, add into the pan and stir neatly. Simmer for 2 minutes more over low heat.

Serve the German-style potato goulash hot having sprinkled with fresh parsley.
