1 onion
2 cloves garlic
150 grams serrano ham

serrano ham

🥗Healthier: turkey bacon

💰Cheaper: prosciutto

Turkey bacon is lower in fat and calories.

1

Open the can of artichoke hearts and add them to a pot with some salt and enough water to cover them.

2

Cook the artichokes for 5 to 10 minutes until soft, adding a handful of salt to taste.

3

While the artichokes are cooking, peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.

4

Once the onion is chopped, add about a tablespoon of olive oil to a skillet and add the onion to fry.

5

As the onion fries, continue chopping the garlic finely.

6

When the onion turns yellow, add a bit of salt to help it sweat and cook faster.

7

After cooking the artichokes for 7 minutes, drain them completely using a colander to remove excess water.

8

Once the onion is semi-transparent, add the finely chopped garlic and let it brown with the onion.

9

After 3 to 4 minutes, add the diced serrano ham and fry for about one more minute until golden.

10

Once the ham is browned, add the drained artichokes and brown them well.

11

If the amount of ham seems too much, you can use only 75 grams instead of 150 grams.

12

Now add a splash of wine and let it cook down to your desired taste.
